Hello, and thank you so much for coming to my page! I'm honored you're here.

I had never imagined running for office. Then I found out a data center was coming just 500 feet from our homes and schools, and I couldn't just watch it happen.

So I started talking to neighbors. Those conversations grew into a coalition, and all we asked the council for was a pause, just to make sure this was something our community actually wanted. We were brushed off. The more I looked into how things get decided at City Hall, the more I saw it wasn't just this one project.

It was about a pattern: decisions made without residents in the room, costs that balloon with no one held accountable, and basic safeguards that only got fixed after the city had already paid the price. And residents are the ones who end up carrying that cost. Too many decisions get made and explained to residents after the fact, if they get explained at all. That's how trust breaks down, and once it's gone, everything gets harder to fix, harder to fund, harder to build.

I'm running for council because the city can be the expert on zoning codes, budgets, and legal process, but its job is to serve the people who live here. My goal is a government that's a genuine steward of this city, that catches problems before residents pay for them, and that treats residents' voices as something to actually listen to, not just process.

Pittsburg is our city. Let's take care of it, together.
